WSA Member Show at the Wellesley Free Library
November 1 - November 30Free
The Wellesley Society of Artists, Inc. (WSA) is showing work from its Exhibiting Members during the month of November 2017 at the Wellesley Free Library. Artist and Wellesley resident, Michelle Jung will be judging the show. First, second and third prize will be awarded as well as the Margaret Fitzwilliam Award for excellence in water media. In addition, there will be a Best Presentation Award. Framed in Time is a popular framing store in historic Saxonville that is well known to WSA artists and others. Owner, John Fornier has been a supporter of artists for many years and will be sponsoring an award for the best presentation of an artwork. John will be presenting the award at the reception. The WSA will announce the award winners at this reception on Sunday, November 5 at 1:15pm. The artist demonstration with renowned landscape oil painter John MacDonald will follow the awards reception.
The meeting and demonstration are free and open to the public. The venue for the WSA November Library Exhibit and artist demo are generously provided by the Wellesley Free Library. The WSA is also pleased to announce that Hartney Greymont, a local tree and landscape company, will sponsor the artist demonstration given by John MacDonald. The WSA is grateful to these community sponsors for their generosity and support of the arts in our community. For more details, visit the WSA Events & Exhibitions page.
