Sunday May 1st, 2016, 2-4pm
Reception and Award Presentation of WSA Spring Exhibition, 2016 in conjunction with Wellesley Garden Club  “Art in Bloom”.

Wellesley Garden Club florists will select about 10 paintings in the WSA Spring Exhibition to be interpreted in flowers. The flower arrangements will on display beside the chosen artworks. There will be a silent auction for all floral displays.
Refreshments and music accompany this “feast for the senses!”
Come join us to welcome the awakening of spring as these two groups cultivate their talents and bloom into a lovely, colorful, and artistic afternoon!  
All are welcome to this free event.  
WSA artwork will remain on display throughout the summer.

WSA members are invited …….Wellesley PSAS is collaborating with the Davis Museum at Wellesley College to provide a night of art, wine and cheese, art raffles, and fun.
We begin at 6 with a reception and a raffle on a variety of art-related items and continue with a tour of the Bunny Harvey: Four Decades exhibit. The event is free, but donations are always appreciated.

The event will be held at Wellesley College’s Davis Museum, Wednesday, October 21st from 6-8 pm. We’re looking to have RSVPs in by the end of Wednesday, October 14th.

All parents, faculty, grand-parents and people who love the Visual Arts are invited. This will be an opportunity hear from you to make the Visual Arts experience for our children (K-12) more fulfilling.

** This is part of an ongoing art exhibit by the Wellesley Society of Artists at the Wellesley Community Center.    Artwork by the WSA remains on display in Henderson Hall at the community center throughout the year, with “official exhibits” for six weeks in the spring and the fall.  Many of the exhibited paintings are for sale, with a price list for the artwork on display.

WSA Spring Exhibit Will Bloom On Sunday, May 3
The Wellesley Society of Artists  (WSA) is  pleased to  open its  Mini Art  in Bloom Show in conjunction with the Wellesley Garden Club on Sunday, May 3 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the Wellesley Community Center, 219 Washington Street, Wellesley Hills.  Light refreshments will be served. WSA is a community of artists founded in 1933 for the purpose of encouraging and supporting local artists with members throughout the Boston Metro area and beyond.  The Wellesley Garden Club was founded in 1929 to advance the art of gardening and the science of horticulture.  Paintings  selected  by  the  Wellesley  Garden  Club  from the  WSA Spring  Exhibition  will  be interpreted in flowers and displayed beside the artworks.  A silent auction will take place for all floral displays. Come join us to welcome the awakening of spring as these two groups cultivate their talents and bloom into a lovely, colorful, and artistic afternoon!  All are welcome to this free event.  WSA artwork will remain on display throughout the summer.
