Wellesley Society of Artists Hybrid Exhibition

In Fall 2021, the WSA provided a Hybrid Show featuring the artwork of 39 Exhibiting Member artists online, with 28 of those artists also showing their artwork at the Needham Webster Bank in Needham. Once again this show reflected the WSA artists’ diverse talent and their expressive inspiration in a variety of mediums.

This show was judged by artist Sarah Alexander, Director of Visual Arts at the Hopkinton Center for Arts and Core Member of the Fountain Street Gallery Boston. Winning artists receive cash awards. To read the juror’s comments, please visit our Award Winners Gallery.

First Place: Maria Babb “Just for Kicks”

Second Place: Fritz Kubitz “Cottage Street Autumn”

Third Place: David Holt “Path to the Matterhorn”

Honorable Mentions: Mary Hunt “View from the Top”; Joan Onofrey “Red Chair and the Flamingo”; Katherine Fast “Moseley”

People’s Choice Award: Maria Babb “Just for Kicks”
