Judy has lived in Wellesley for over 30 years. She became an avid museumgoer and art lover as a young child growing up in the New York area. Judy began painting as a hobby after retiring from her job as a corporate manager. After several years of study and practice, painting has moved to the forefront of her discretionary activities. Travel and new experiences, seasons, water and earth-scapes, and the intriguing combinations of shape, light, shadow and color all inspire Judy’s process and artwork.
