Yvonne’s paintings are inspired by what she describes as “everyday nature,” those small observations of the natural world that occur in the midst of her daily activities. It might be fall leaves mired in a puddle or a grassy fringe along a pond’s edge. She paints in an attempt to share that ever-present nature that she finds so delightfully and unexpectedly beautiful. Yvonne hopes to encourage the viewer to appreciate nature wherever they may find it, allowing it to further enrich their lives.
