DESCRIPTION:A Charles River Journey: 80 Artists\, 80 Miles \n \nJanuary 22 – March 12\, 2027 \nMosesian Center for the Arts\, Watertown\, MA \n  \nJoin the Dedham Art Association and the Wellesley Society of Artists\, in collaboration with the Charles River Watershed Association\, for A Charles River Journey: 80 Artists\, 80 Miles\, on exhibit January 22–March 12\, 2027\, at the Charles and Dorothy Mosesian Center for the Arts in Watertown. \nEighty selected artists share their visual impressions of the Charles River—from its meandering natural landscapes to the diverse communities it connects\, and its vital role as both a recreational and ecological resource. Seen through the artists’ eyes\, the flora\, fauna\, people\, and places along the river are reimagined as a lasting record of the environmental and social narratives that define our time. This unique exhibition brings together artists to foster environmental awareness and pay homage to the entire river as a vital thread connecting us to nature and to one another. Experience the rich and varied life of the Charles River along its full 80-mile journey from Hopkinton to Boston\, as interpreted by 80 artists. \nThis exhibition is juried by Stapleton Kearns\, Carolyn Lantanison\, and Paige Roehrig.  \nOpening Reception & Awards Ceremony\nJanuary 26\, 2027 | 5:30–7:30 PM \nCome celebrate the artists\, the river\, and the communities connected by this remarkable natural resource. Juror Paige Roehrig will announce award recipients.  \n
